My cousin's family includes two little girls amongst other people. One of them is a huge fan of Viileä Venla, a character of a Finnish kids' movie. Venla uses big bows, flowers, and ribbons on her hair. I helped my cousin with the Christmas presents and this is what we came up with: Two hair rosettes for the little Venla fan and a brooch for her little sister. All the yarn (Rico's cotton and merino wool) are leftovers from my own stash. The beads are genuine plastic from a nearby supermarket. I haven't found my bead stash after we moved.
It seems I am rarely fully happy with what I make for others: I hate how the colors clash here. I am glad, though, I didn't listen myself too closely, as I am told the girls absolutely loved their new jewelry.
Onnentyttöjä. :)
